PRESS RELEASE - J.Bird Design Acquires Small Business Access

Joyce Black Wins 2002 Bravo Award

The National Association of Women Business Owners, San Diego Chapter, has awarded Joyce Black of J.Bird Design the 2002 Bravo Award for Supporter of the Year.

Joyce has been an active member of the National Association of Women Business Owners since 1998. She has an understanding of the communication needs of the organization and when approached with the opportunity, she was excited to utilize her design expertise to create the new look for the Chapter’s quarterly newsletter, The Decision Maker. She has been instrumental in designing the invitations and the marketing materials for NAWBO’s Bravo! Awards for the last four years and this year she is serving on both the Corporate Partner and the Bravo! Committees. She has also served on the Board as Public Relations chair and as the Newsletter Editor.

Graphic Communications, one of NAWBO's Corporate Partners, also awarded Joyce with a certificate of recognition. Joyce first became familiar with the printing company because of Lenore Hoefling's and owner John Rush's, active involvement with the National Association of Business Owners. As mutually active members and supporters of NAWBO, they have had the opportunity to work together to fulfill the design and printing needs of the organization, as well as form a professional relationship resulting in excellent designed and printed pieces.

J.Bird Design Acquires Web Development Company
J.Bird Design has acquired the Web development company, Small Business Access. This recent acquisition allows J.Bird Design the ability to enhance its services by offering existing customers hosting for their Web sites. It is also a beneficial acquisition to the Small Business Access customers. They now have access to over 13 years experience in graphic design. That means, not only will they continue to receive excellent service with site web development and site hosting, but also all forms of print mediums.
